Assistant Home Manager

Job description

We have a vacancy for a full time Assistant Home Manager at our residential care home in Whitley Bay, working 37 hours per week.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate compassion and empathy and is committed to improving the quality of life for older people.

Applicants must have strong leadership qualities, effective communication and interpersonal skills, which is essential for developing an overall nurturing approach and building good relationships with people living and working in the home.

Applicants must be able to administer and manage medication, be highly motivated, flexible, organised and diligent. To be able to provide management support to the Home Manager and supervision of the staff team.

Experience of working in a care home in a senior role is essential. A Health and Social Care and/or leadership and management qualification is desirable and the successful candidate will be expected to complete further training as required.
