Job description

Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a reliable and qualified FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a leading manufacturing company based in the BS34 area, between Stoke Gifford and Winterbourne.

This is a temporary position with an immediate start and the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Role Details

The first week will consist of training on the day shift, working 8:00am4:00pm.

Following completion of the training period, you will work 36 hours per week on a rota covering early, day and night shifts.

Location

BS34 between Stoke Gifford and Winterbourne

Due to the site location and shift pattern, a driving licence and access to your own transport are preferred.

Pay and Hours

• Hourly rate: £14.29 per hour
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift pattern: Early, day and night shifts
• Pay frequency: Weekly
• Start date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

• Operating an FLT Counterbalance truck safely and efficiently
• Moving and managing waste materials around the site
• Supporting manufacturing teams with general yard and waste duties
• Ensuring materials are stored and moved correctly
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Following all site health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence essential
• Previous FLT Counterbalance experience
• Ability to work early, day and night shifts
• Ability to commute reliably to the BS34 area
• Driving licence and own transport preferred due to the location and shift pattern
• Previous experience within a manufacturing, warehouse or waste environment is desirable
• A reliable and safety-conscious approach to work
