Job: SEND Teacher (Primary or Secondary)

Employer: British International School, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Start date: 19th August 2026

Annual Tax-Free Salary: £26,600 - £32,400 + Benefits including housing, flight allowance, medical and gratuity (worth over £15,000)

Contract: Full-time, fixed term for 2 years 

 

Aston Education is working with a thriving and vibrant British international school in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

They are looking for a full-time SEND teacher for primary or secondary.

The job responsibilities include:

 

As a SEND Teacher, you'll work in either the Primary or Secondary School's inclusion zone as part of the SEND Team.

 

You'll teach small groups of students with SEND or barriers for learning to improve their Maths, English (reading, writing and speaking) and Functional Skills.

 

You'll create an engaging learning environment and enable all children to achieve the best outcomes possible. You'll deliver high-quality education in line with the UK National Curriculum.

 

The role requires careful monitoring of pupil progress, with timely intervention to ensure excellent learning outcomes and positive behaviour.

 

Skills and Qualifications required:

  • QTS
  • Bachelor of Education (BEd) or PGCE and a relevant degree
  • SEND qualification
  • Successful UK teaching experience at a primary or secondary school
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Strong experience teaching students with SEND
  • Commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and community
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
