We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to nurse and support staff across England and Wales.We are currently looking for a number of senior support workers across south wales to join one our national children provider clients and need you!Key Responsibilities

• Direct Care: Provide trauma-informed, person-centered support in a therapeutic children's residential setting.
• Leadership: Assist the home manager in mentoring support workers, leading shifts, and ensuring high standards of care.
• Safeguarding: Protect young people from harm and strictly adhere to child protection procedures.
• Administration: Assist with shift planning, accurate record-keeping, and care plan reviews.
• Community Engagement: Facilitate leisure and educational activities to help young people build life skills. [1, 2, 3]

• Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent in Health & Social Care).
• Experience: Previous experience working in a residential care setting with children or vulnerable individuals.
• Licensing: A full, manual UK driving license is strictly required.
• Competencies: Strong resilience, communication skills, and an open-minded approach to therapeutic care. [1, 2, 3, 4]

• Hours: Shift work is required, including evenings, weekends, and on-call or sleep-in duties.
• Pay & Benefits: Senior roles often offer competitive hourly rates (e.g., £15.25£16.25/hr depending on the region) plus additional sleep-in allowances. [1, 2, 3]
