An award-winning, forward-thinking regional law firm is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its highly regarded Dispute Resolution team based in Marks Tey.

The Opportunity

You'll join a supportive and experienced clinical negligence team acting for claimants on a broad range of complex and sensitive matters. This is an excellent opportunity to manage your own caseload while working alongside experienced specialists on higher-value and more technically challenging claims.


The role offers exposure to a wide variety of cases including:

  • Delayed or missed diagnoses
  • Surgical negligence
  • Birth and obstetric injury claims
  • Fatal accident claims
  • GP and hospital negligence
  • Consent and treatment claims
  • Complex, high-value clinical negligence litigation


You'll be responsible for managing claims from initial instruction through to settlement or trial, building strong client relationships and working closely with medical experts, counsel and other professionals throughout the litigation process.


About You

Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives with experience handling claimant or defendant clinical negligence matters.

You'll ideally demonstrate:

  • Experience managing your own clinical negligence caseload.
  • Strong litigation and case management skills.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation abilities.
  • A compassionate and client-focused approach.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A collaborative mindset and a genuine desire to contribute to a supportive team environment.


Candidates with experience in personal injury who are looking to specialise further in clinical negligence are also encouraged to apply.
