Syner-Med is seeking a Clinical Applications Specialist (Diagnostics & Urology) to be the clinical face of our urology portfolio in the field, with our new point-of-care diagnostic at its centre. This role is both scientific and hands-on- getting the technology embedded in NHS and private hospitals, providing clinical support and medical information, engaging clinicians and KOLs, and upholding compliance (MHRA, ABPI/ABHI). You'll start in urology and grow into obstetrics as the product expands. This is a field-based role, home-based between customer visits, with regular UK travel.

What you'll do

• Be the clinical lead on getting IVDs embedded at each site- owning the training, pathway and SOP integration, and clinical follow-up, alongside our hospital account managers who lead the rollout
• Solve the clinical problems that decide whether a placement sticks, working directly with hospital clinical and lab teams
• Handle first-line clinical and product queries across the portfolio, and keep training materials current as the evidence grows
• Build relationships with clinical KOLs across urology, microbiology and obstetrics, and support advisory boards and congresses
• Contribute to service evaluations, audits and the real-world evidence behind wider NHS adoption

What you'll bring

• A clinical or scientific background in infection or diagnostics- HCPC-registered biomedical/clinical scientist, microbiologist, or a urology/women's-health clinician - credible in front of a consultant microbiologist
• Hands-on experience implementing point-of-care testing in NHS secondary care: POCT committees, QC/EQA, connectivity, IVDR/UKCA
• Someone who runs their own diary across a UK territory and holds a full UK driving licence
• Desirable: experience supporting pharmaceutical products, and a track record of service evaluations, audits or publications
