Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) for an exciting 12-month contract opportunity within a growing and dynamic clinical research team.

This is a remote opportunity for an experienced clinical research professional who is confident working independently and managing clinical trial activities across multiple sites. You will play an important role in supporting successful study delivery, maintaining data quality, protecting participant safety, and ensuring compliance throughout the clinical trial lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct monitoring activities to ensure clinical trial sites are operating in accordance with study protocols, ICH-GCP, SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Perform monitoring visits and follow-up activities as required throughout the study.
  • Review site performance, identify potential risks or issues, and work proactively with sites to implement appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with study teams and cross-functional stakeholders to support timely study delivery, accurate data collection, and effective issue resolution.
  • Provide guidance and support to site staff to promote consistent and high-quality trial conduct.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with investigators, site personnel, sponsors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation and reporting of monitoring activities and follow-up actions.
  • Support the identification and escalation of quality, compliance, and operational risks.
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of data integrity and participant safety throughout the study.
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.


About You

  • 5+ years of experience in clinical research, including substantial experience working as a Clinical Research Associate.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical trial operations, monitoring practices, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Solid understanding of ICH-GCP and clinical trial quality standards.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple sites and competing priorities within a clinical trial environment.
  • Experience conducting clinical trial monitoring activities and managing site relationships.
  • Strong understanding of data integrity, protocol compliance, and clinical trial documentation.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with investigators, site teams, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience working with clinical trial systems and relevant technology platforms.
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification in life sciences, nursing, medicine, or a related discipline.
