RELIEF NIGHT SUPPORT WORKERS IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITIESNight Shifts | Residential SettingAbingdon & surrounding areas£17.50 £22.00 per hour30+ hours per weekOngoing work availableWe are currently recruiting experienced Night Support Workers to work within a residential setting supporting unaccompanied asylum-seeking young people.This is a rewarding opportunity for experienced support workers who are passionate about working with vulnerable adolescents and helping young people feel safe, supported and settled.THE ROLEAs a Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive environment throughout the night, while providing appropriate support to young people.Your duties will include:Ensuring the safety and welfare of residents overnightBuilding positive, professional relationships with vulnerable young peopleProviding reassurance and emotional support when neededResponding calmly and appropriately to incidents or challenging situationsFollowing safeguarding procedures and reporting concerns appropriatelyCarrying out regular checks and maintaining a safe environmentSupporting young people with routines and promoting independenceMaintaining accurate records and handover informationWorking effectively as part of the wider residential teamWE'RE LOOKING FORPrevious experience working with vulnerable young people or adolescents is essential.We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in:Residential childcare or support workSupporting vulnerable adolescentsSemi-independent or supported accommodationSocial care or youth servicesChallenging behaviour and safeguardingYou must be reliable, calm, patient and resilient, with the ability to work independently during night shifts while knowing when to escalate concerns.WHAT WE OFFER£17.50 £22.00 per hour30+ hours per weekOngoing agency workRegular night shiftsAbingdon areaOpportunity for consistent hoursIf you're an experienced support worker looking for regular, ongoing night work and have a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people, we'd love to hear from you.Get in touch today to register and discuss available shifts.ONGOING WORK IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE FOR SUITABLE CANDIDATES.TPBN1_UKTJ
