Do you thrive in a role where every day brings the chance to make a genuine impact?We're excited to be working with a charming School in Waltham Forest, who are looking to welcome a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to their supportive team from September 2026.This is a fantastic full-time, long-term opportunity running until July 2027, making it ideal for experienced SEMH/SEN Learning Support Assistants as well as graduates looking to build a rewarding career in education.The RoleAs an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them to engage with learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.Your responsibilities will include:Providing tailored support to pupils both in and out of the classroom.Working 1:1 and with small groups to encourage positive learning and behaviour.Building strong, trusting relationships with children to support their emotional wellbeing.Working closely with teachers and the wider pastoral team to create a positive learning environment.Celebrating every achievement, no matter how big or small.We're Looking ForWe're keen to hear from candidates who:Have experience supporting children or young people with SEMH and/or SEN, orAre enthusiastic graduates looking to gain valuable school-based experience.Are patient, resilient and able to remain calm under pressure.Have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.Are passionate about helping children succeed both academically and personally.What's On Offer?Competitive daily pay of £92-£120, depending on experience.September 2026 start.Full-time, long-term role until July 2027.Opportunity to work in the welcoming and supportive environment.Ongoing support from your dedicated education recruitment consultant.A rewarding role where you'll make a lasting difference in children's lives every single day.If you're ready to take the next step in your education career and join a school where your support truly matters, we'd love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
