Location:Danby Supported Living Community
Pay: £13.20 - £26.40 + Sleep-in Allowance + Bank Holiday Enhancements

Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle are essential due to the location of the service.

We're recruiting experienced Support Workers to join a welcoming supported living community in Danby, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and physical disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to help people live as independently as possible while promoting choice, dignity and inclusion.

The Role

\n

As a Support Worker, you'll provide high-quality, person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs, helping them achieve their goals and enjoy fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities will include:

    \n
  • Providing person-centred support in line with individual care plans.
  • \n

  • Encouraging independence while promoting dignity, choice and respect.
  • \n

  • Supporting individuals with personal care where required.
  • \n

  • Assisting with daily living activities, including meal preparation and household tasks.
  • \n

  • Supporting people to access the community, appointments, education and leisure activities.
  • \n

  • Building positive, trusting relationships with the people you support.
  • \n

  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns appropriately.
  • \n

  • Working as part of a dedicated team to deliver outstanding care.

What We're Looking For

\n

    \n
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience working within a relevant health and social care setting.
  • \n

  • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs or physical disabilities.
  • \n

  • A caring, patient and compassionate approach.
  • \n

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • \n

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • \n

  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
