PMLD Teacher – Specialist SEND School – South London – Immediate Start

This specialist SEND school in South London is seeking a compassionate and experienced PMLD Teacher to join its dedicated team. Supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and complex additional needs, the school provides a highly personalised learning environment where communication, sensory development, independence and wellbeing are central to every pupil's progress.

PMLD Teacher – What the Role Involves

You'll plan and deliver a highly personalised curriculum based around each pupil's individual needs and EHCP outcomes. You'll use sensory, practical and communication-based approaches to support engagement, independence and development, while working closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and families.

You'll also play an important role in creating a calm, safe and stimulating classroom where progress is recognised in all its forms.
PMLD Teacher – What the School is Looking For The ideal candidate will hold QTS and have experience teaching pupils with PMLD, SLD, complex needs or within a specialist SEND setting. Applications are also welcomed from experienced SEN Teachers looking to develop their expertise in complex needs.
