Role Overview:

Reporting to the Welding Foreman, your role will be to learn how to TIG weld stainless steel fabrications. Other duties are outlined below:

Main duties will include:

• Learn how to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Assist in welding from 1.2 mm to 20 mm in thickness.
• Assist in carrying out necessary checks and quality assurance of products as per specifications.
• Maintain equipment in a safe, clean and good working order.
• Assist with any other task as required in line with business needs and as required within your skill set and experience.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess either a Level 1 or Level 2 qualification in welding or possess at least one-year TIG welding experience.
• Experience of working on a shop floor environment would be an advantage.
• Possess an understanding of engineering drawings would be an advantage.
• Ability to work within a team or on your own.
• Being able to use your own initiative to solve problems.
• Have an attention to detail and quality.
• Posses a can do attitude.
