Production Operative Grade 1 - Gosport

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Production Operative Grade 1 to work with a leading company in the paper product manufacturing sector in Gosport. This role focuses on ensuring the maximum effectiveness of manufacturing equipment and maintaining high production standards.

Shift patterns:
* Set shift patterns of 3x Day shift, 2x off, 2x night shift, 3x off.
* Please note that shift patterns may vary based on operational demand.

Pay rates:
* 12.71 GBP hourly.

Essential requirements for Production Operative Grade 1:
* Previous manufacturing or production experience.
* Experience working with mechanical equipment.
* Proven ability in fault finding and rectifying technical issues.
* Ability to work a rotating shift pattern including days and nights.

Desirable requirements for Production Operative Grade 1:
* BTEC National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Relevant NVQ qualification.
* Experience working with special purpose machinery and high-speed manufacturing environments.
* PC literate.
* Target driven, organised, and proactive approach.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
* Flexibility in terms of tasks undertaken.

Role for Production Operative Grade 1:
* Ensure maximum effectiveness of all paper product manufacturing equipment.
* Fault find and rectify technical issues within your capability.
* Collaborate with the engineering team when issues fall outside of your remit.
* Overcome minor technical issues to improve operational efficiency.
* Work effectively within a team to maximise production output.
