Designer/Artworker, up to £30,000, Hybrid (2-3 days in the office), Birmingham


About the Company

We are working exclusively with a well-regarded

creative

agency that is keen to find a talented new Graphic Designer & Creative Artworker to join their team.

This is a hands-on role for an individual who loves to generate

creative

concepts and has an eye for detail. You will be producing work for a diverse range of print and

digital

projects, bringing

creative

briefs to life, and ensuring accuracy and polishing work before production.


Description

You’ll be involved from initial

creative

development through to final artwork, so this role will suit someone who enjoys owning their work and takes pride in getting the details right. You'll be working within the team to interpret briefs, develop creative concepts, and deliver high-quality work across channels including advertising, social, email, brochures, print, and

digital

artwork.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing

    creative

    design solutions that meet client objectives and brand guidelines
  • Taking briefs and turning them into engaging, effective

    creative

  • Preparing and finalising accurate artwork for print and

    digital

    production
  • Working alongside senior creatives and account teams to develop ideas and solutions
  • Managing multiple projects and deadlines across different clients and channels
  • Ensuring work is consistently accurate, polished and on brand
  • Carrying out thorough quality checks before work goes into production
  • Taking feedback positively and using it to develop your

    creative

    approach


Experience

We’re looking for someone who has a strong grounding in both graphic design and

creative

artwork.

You might currently be working as a Graphic Designer, Creative Artworker, Designer/Artworker, or in a similar role and be ready to take the next step. You'll have a strong

creative

foundation, solid technical skills, and the confidence to take ownership of projects.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Demonstrable experience across graphic design and artwork production, preferably within an agency or similarly fast-paced environment
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a good mix of print and

    digital

    work
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe

    Creative

    Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience preparing artwork for both print and

    digital

    production
  • A good understanding of typography, layout, branding and print processes
  • Excellent attention to detail... You’ll spot the typo everyone else missed!
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • The confidence to work independently while knowing when to ask for guidance
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to take direction and constructive feedback from senior creatives


Remuneration

  • £28-30k depending on experience
  • Additional holiday for your birthday and Christmas
