  • Support strategic business initiatives, including acquisitions, restructurings, and ERP transformation programs.
  • Develop and mentor an Indirect Tax Analyst while building a high-performing tax function.
  • Advance automation, digital tools, and AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency, controls, and reporting.
  • Help position tax as a proactive business partner that supports sustainable growth and operational excellence.

What You'll Bring

  • 8+ years of progressive tax experience with significant US federal and state corporate tax expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of US corporate income tax compliance and tax accounting, including ASC 740.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS tax reporting.
  • Experience with US sales and use tax and broader state and local tax matters, including property taxes, gross receipts taxes, transaction taxes, and business licenses.
  • Proven experience reviewing work, managing priorities, and developing team members.
  • Experience managing external advisors and engaging with tax authorities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred CPA, MST, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience with Canadian corporate tax and/or indirect tax matters.
  • Background within a multinational or professional services environment.
  • Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, transfer pricing, cross-border tax matters, and contract review.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementation, finance transformation, or process redesign initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or other major ERP platforms.
  • Advanced Excel and experience leveraging tax technology, data analytics, workflow, or reporting tools.
  • Interest in emerging technologies, automation, and responsible AI applications within tax functions.
