Senior Healthcare Consultant

Job description

We are currently seeking a Senior Healthcare Consultant to work directly with executive leadership, including the CEO, on a strategic transformation project within the healthcare and life sciences sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing and redesigning the operating model for a Medical Information function.

This is a high-visibility assignment, offering direct exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence organisational design and operational effectiveness.

This position is Inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess the current Medical Information operating model and team structure.
• Design and recommend an improved organisational and operational framework.
• Partner closely with senior leadership, including direct interaction with the CEO.
• Analyse business processes, team capabilities, governance, and workflow structures.
• Support the implementation of operating model recommendations and organisational improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery.

Requirements

• Previous consulting experience, gained within a consultancy or CRO environment is essential.
• Experience designing or optimising operating models and organisational structures.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior executives.
• Experience within Medical Affairs, Medical Information, or related pharmaceutical functions is highly desirable.
• Understanding of healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environments.
