Job Summary
We are looking for a caring, reliable and compassionate Support Worker to provide person-centred support to individuals at Arundel House.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality person-centred care and support.
- Assist individuals with personal care and daily living activities.
- Support individuals with medication as required and in line with training.
- Encourage independence and promote choice and dignity.
- Support individuals with community activities and appointments.
- Monitor and report changes in individuals' health and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate and confidential care records.
- Follow individual care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
- Work effectively with colleagues and other professionals.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a care or support worker role is desirable.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and respectful approach to care.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to complete mandatory training.
- Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care.
