The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders, contract negotiations, and a wide range of commercial and operational matters within a highly respected and purpose-driven organisation.

  • Provide pragmatic legal advice to commercial, sales, procurement, and operational teams.
  • Support large-scale customer contracts, strategic partnerships, and supplier arrangements.
  • Identify and manage legal and commercial risks while enabling business growth.
  • Advise on contractual obligations, compliance matters, and governance requirements.
  • Partner with stakeholders across multiple business functions to support key initiatives.

  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied workload.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience within commercial, technology, education, publishing, media, or professional services sectors.
  • Previous secondment or in-house exposure.
  • Experience supporting sales, procurement, or strategic partnership agreements.
  • Immediate availability or short notice period.

What's on Offer?

  • Opportunity to join a recognised leader in the education sector.
  • Broad and varied commercial legal work.
  • Hybrid working model based in London.
  • Initially for 6 months.

Location: London (Hybrid)

Start Date: Immediate / ASAP Preferred

We are particularly keen to hear from UK-qualified lawyers with a strong private practice background who are looking to make a meaningful move into a commercial, business-facing role and can be available to start at short notice.
