About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate School Head Chef to join our team in the Birmingham area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven culinary professional to lead kitchen operations across a roaming role covering the B61 postcode area, delivering high-quality, nutritious meals in a school catering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals
• Plan menus in line with school food standards and nutritional guidelines
• Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, health and safety
• Manage stock control, ordering, and budgeting
• Travel between sites as required across the B61 area

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef, ideally within school or contract catering
• A full, valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential, due to travel between sites)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
• A genuine passion for food and providing great meals for young people
