Health & Safety Manager

Fit-Out & Refurbishment | Central London

Up to £80,000 + Travel Expenses + Bonus Scheme


A leading fit-out and refurbishment contractor is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join their growing team, supporting a portfolio of high-profile projects across Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive health and safety professional with experience operating in a multi-site environment, ideally within the fit-out, refurbishment, construction, or interiors sector.


Working alongside an established HSEQ team, you will provide practical and visible health and safety support across a number of live projects. As this is a site-focused role, you will be spending the majority of your week visiting projects, engaging with operational teams, and driving a positive safety culture throughout the business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits and safety reviews across multiple live projects.
  • Provide practical health and safety advice to project teams, site managers and subcontractors.
  • Support incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented.
  • Review RAMS and assist teams in developing safe systems of work.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and current health and safety legislation.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and support health and safety training initiatives.
  • Produce reports and identify trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote and champion a positive behavioural safety culture across all sites.


Requirements

  • Proven experience within a Health & Safety Manager, Health & Safety Advisor, or Senior Health & Safety Advisor position.
  • Previous experience covering multiple construction sites simultaneously.
  • Strong background within fit-out, refurbishment, interiors, construction, or related sectors.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate as a minimum (Diploma preferred).
  • Member of IOSH (GradIOSH or Chartered status advantageous).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
