Customer Service Engineer
Salary: £37,000 Basic + Bonus + Commission
Location: Field-Based
Reporting To: Service Operations Manager

The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering business for a Customer Service Engineer to support customers across a designated territory. This is a hands-on role focused on equipment servicing, maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance and reactive service visits
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
• Manage your territory effectively and meet service targets
• Deliver a high level of customer service at all times
• Provide operator training and technical support
• Identify opportunities for additional products and services
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records
• Support colleagues and assist with coverage outside your normal area when required

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Good understanding of electronic systems
• Organised and able to prioritise workload effectively
• Commercial awareness and customer-focused approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• IT literate with experience using service reporting systems
