SEMH Teaching Assistant – The Role

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:

Foster pupils' independence, self-esteem, and resilience.
Deliver intervention sessions to key students.
Monitor progress, celebrate individual breakthroughs, and keep pupil wellbeing at the core of your teaching.
Promote the physical, educational, and moral development of students.

The ideal SEMH Teaching Assistant will:

Have obtained a degree from a top UK University
Have the ability to support learning in 1:1 and small-group settings, including literacy and numeracy work
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people
