Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an ANP to join our friendly and dynamic team at Meeks Road Surgery. This full-time position offers flexible hours, either over five days or four days with Tuesday as a designated day off.

We are a large, busy practice located in Central Falkirk, supported by a dedicated and hardworking team. We are seeking an ANP who is committed to teamwork and delivering high-quality care. As a forward-thinking practice, we are always exploring new ways to enhance our services.

We are a sociable, chatty practice – we eat lunch together daily (chat, laugh, vent, debrief and share queries)! There's always an experienced colleague on hand to discuss patients, tricky cases and share uncertainty!

Our ideal candidate is an experienced ANP with a background in General Practice, and familiarity with EMIS (Vision from February 2027) and Docman. They should be proficient in:

• Telephone Triage
• History Taking
• Physical and Clinical Examinations
• Clinical Management and Treatment, including Prescribing

The successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of the wider team. A commitment to ongoing professional development is essential.

We have a great relationship with our Health Board Multidisciplinary Team consisting of District Nurses, Health Visitors, Mental Health Nurses, Advanced Physiotherapist, Pharmacotherapy Team and Healthcare Assistant.
