Healthcare Architect

Architecture Social is looking for a Healthcare Architect

Job description

Life sciences work is a specialism, not a sideline, and it needs architects who can hold the technical detail while keeping the design honest. This role sits at the mid to senior level with a multi-disciplinary practice, and it is built around ARB registration and strong Revit skills. Both matter from day one, so read on if that is you.

You will be working across the full life sciences remit, on projects that carry real technical demands. This is an on-site role based in the London area, full time. If you want your registration and your Revit ability put to proper use rather than left on a CV, this is a role that asks for both.

The practice is multi-disciplinary and delivers across a broad range of sectors, so the work is varied and the standard is high.

The Practice

  • You will join a multi-disciplinary practice that combines architecture with employer's agent and building consultancy services.
  • You will work alongside teams delivering across residential, commercial, education and healthcare sectors.
  • You will be based in the London area, with the role set as on-site.

The Work

  • You will focus on life sciences architecture, a specialism that rewards technical rigour.
  • You will produce and develop drawings and models in Revit as your primary tool.
  • You will contribute to projects across the practice's sector range, not a single repeated brief.
  • You will be involved in RIBA stages 3-4.
  • You will apply your ARB registration to the responsibilities the role carries.
  • You will work as part of a full-time, on-site team in London.

What You Need

  • You must be registered with the ARB.
  • You must be proficient in Revit and comfortable using it day to day.
  • You will need experience relevant to life sciences architecture.
  • You will have experience working on technical RIBA stages.
  • You should bring a sound grasp of technical detailing and design quality.
  • You should be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team.

The Offer

  • Full-time, permanent position with hybrid working.
  • Competitive salary.
  • Healthcare benefits.
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Enhanced maternity/paternity pay.
  • Discounts on gym memberships.
  • Multidisciplinary practice with room to grow in multiple sectors.
