Head Chef role
As Head Chef, you will take the helm of the state-of-the-art kitchen, leading a talented brigade to deliver an unforgettable gastronomic journey. This is a rare opportunity to craft a menu that pays homage to culinary history while pushing boundaries in presentation and flavour.
Head Chef responsibilities
- Curate and develop an exceptional menu inspired by historical British classics and traditional French methods.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Lead, inspire, and develop the kitchen team, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, cost control, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate closely with the restaurant management team to enhance the guest dining experience.
Head Chef requirements
- A seasoned culinary professional with proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fine dining or luxury hotel environment.
- Deep knowledge of British culinary traditions and French techniques, paired with a modern approach to plating and innovation.
- A leader who thrives under pressure, with excellent organizational and team management skills.
- Passionate about sustainability, local sourcing, and showcasing the finest seasonal ingredients.
