Our government funded Teaching Assistant training programme is designed to help beginners take their first step into working in a school.

The programme is completely free. There are no course fees or hidden charges at any stage.

Training is delivered online through live virtual classrooms by an Ofsted registered training provider, giving you the knowledge, skills and confidence to begin your career in education.

Course details- Duration: 6 weeks- Live virtual classrooms- Monday to Friday- 11:00am 12:30pmYou will achieve two nationally recognised Level 2 qualifications:- Level 2 Certificate in Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values- Level 2 Award in Support Work in SchoolsAs part of the programme, you'll also receive employability support to help you move into work in a school. This includes CV support, interview preparation, job search guidance and help with applying for Teaching Assistant and Classroom Support Worker roles.

Who can apply?

To be eligible, you must:- Be aged 19 or over- Currently not in education- Be available to attend the live virtual classroom sessions Monday to Friday, 11:00am12:30pm- Have access to a computer or laptop with a reliable internet connectionThis programme is ideal if you're looking for a career change, returning to work, or simply looking for a way to start a career in education with no previous experience.
