HGV Class 2 Night Driver

£17.00–£20.00 per hour | Ongoing Work | Night Shifts |

Essential Workforce are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Night Drivers for ongoing retail distribution work with one of our clients.

The Role

You will be operating Class 2 vehicles, completing scheduled deliveries to retail stores. This role does involve a heavy amount of physical labour but you are given drivers mate to assist with deliveries.

Shift Details

• Night shifts
• 2 - 3 stores per shift
• Start times 1700 - 1800
• Shifts usually 10–12 hours
• Regular ongoing work
• Guaranteed 10 hours per shift
• Wednesday/Thursday/Saturday/Sunday

What We're Looking For

Successful applicants will need:

• Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence - 6 months for insurance
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
• Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours and Tachograph Regulations
• Comfortable with an element of manual handling
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
• Professional attitude when dealing with customers
