Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
• Lead small-group interventions and provide targeted student support.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons when required.
• Help maintain positive behaviour and an engaging learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and encourage participation.
• Support students with additional learning needs.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, Teaching Assistant or in a similar education role.
• Confidence supporting learning and managing classroom behaviour.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A positive, patient and proactive approach.
• The ability to build positive relationships with secondary school students.
• A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
