Teaching Assistant - SEND School | Esher | Full Time | Long Term

TimePlan Education is working in partnership with a fantastic SEND school in Esher that is looking to appoint a number of dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.

Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND is essential. We are looking for compassionate, resilient, and proactive individuals who can build positive relationships and make a meaningful difference to students' educational journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, both in class and through targeted interventions.
Work closely with teaching staff to deliver personalised learning and support plans.
Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day.
Assist students in developing their communication, social, and independence skills.
Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues to support student progress. Key Qualities:

Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND (essential)
Patient, caring, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations
