A Teaching Assistant is needed in a Coeducational Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This Teaching Assistant position will be full time and long term with scope to go permanent.

Working hours for this Teaching Assistant post will be 8am to 4pm.

Responsibilities for this Teaching Assistant role will include but not be limited to:

Supporting SEN and LAP students in group or whole class intervention sessions

Working with the teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified

Attending to students' social, emotional and personal needs when required

Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy

Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed

The rates of pay for this Teaching Assistant position will be between £106.87 and £124.87 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

A Mixed Academy for pupils aged 11 to 18 years old, located in the London Borough of Merton.

It was established in 2012 and there are currently just over 800 pupils on enrolment.

The site is spread across six acres which include a sports halls, gymnasium, all weather pitches, tennis courts, large playing fields and athletic track.

They have a wide variety of extracurricular clubs, including Korean, Sports, Food and Art.

Requirements
