Location: Clapham, Lambeth
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Pay: £105-£120 per day, depending on experience
Qualification: Level 3 Early Years qualification required

Are you a Level 3 qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a primary school?

A welcoming primary school in Lambeth is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join its team as soon as possible. Working across both Nursery and Reception, you will play an important role in supporting children's early development, helping them build confidence and preparing them for the next stage of their education.

The Role

Support teaching and learning across Nursery and Reception.

Assist with play-based activities that develop communication, language, early literacy and numeracy.

Support phonics sessions and early reading development.

Help create a stimulating, safe and inclusive learning environment.

Work with the class teacher to support children's progress and identify additional learning needs.

Encourage positive behaviour, independence and social development.

Provide additional support for children with SEND where required.

The Ideal Candidate

Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or a related field .

Has experience working in a Nursery, Reception class or similar early years setting.

Understands the EYFS framework and child-led learning.

Is confident supporting phonics, communication and early development.

Has a patient, caring and proactive approach.

Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with staff and parents.
