HGV Class 2 Driver – Aston, Birmingham – £16 Per Hour – Immediate Starts
People Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Aston, Birmingham .
This is an excellent opportunity offering consistent Monday-to-Friday working, ongoing work and immediate starts. The role involves deliveries with handballing and cage work required. Candidates must have a minimum of one year's HGV driving experience.
£16 Per Hour | Monday to Friday | 4am–6am Starts | Ongoing Work | Immediate Starts Available
Shifts

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 4:00am and 6:00am
• Ongoing, consistent work

• £16 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:

• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
• Completing deliveries to customers on assigned routes
• Loading and unloading goods using cages
• Carrying out handballing as part of the delivery process
• Completing vehicle safety checks before and after journeys
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Completing relevant paperwork and delivery documentation
• Complying with drivers' hours regulations and road safety requirements

Essential Skills

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Minimum of one year's HGV driving experience
• Comfortable with handballing and cage work
• Professional and reliable approach to work
• Good understanding of drivers' hours regulations
• Punctual and dependable

Training Provided
• Role-specific guidance and support throughout your assignment
