Academics are looking for a Level 2 Qualified Teaching Assistant to support a primary school in Appleton, Warrington.

We're looking for a caring, proactive and reliable TA who can work closely with teachers to support pupils and contribute to a positive classroom environment.

The role may involve:

• Supporting pupils across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Helping deliver the primary curriculum through engaging activities
• Supporting phonics, reading, writing and maths
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required
• Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence and engagement
• Supporting classroom routines and learning activities
• Promoting positive behaviour and following safeguarding procedures

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Has previous experience working with children
• Understands the primary curriculum
• Has experience supporting phonics and early reading
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Is patient, enthusiastic and dependable
• Has a strong understanding of safeguarding
