The Recruitment Crowd is expanding, and we are recruiting Senior Healthcare Assistant's to join our temporary agency workforce, supporting a wide range of clients around the Northeast (various locations) in healthcare settings.

About the Role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will lead by example, support and mentor team members, and ensure excellent standards of care are maintained. You will work closely with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals to promote wellbeing, independence, and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality support tailored to individual needs.
• Leading shifts and supporting the day-to-day running of the service.
• Supervising, mentoring, and motivating support staff.
• Supporting care planning, risk assessments, and record keeping.
• Medication administration
• Ensuring compliance with safeguarding and health & safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a Support Worker role.
• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Medication certification
• A caring, compassionate, and proactive approach.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent (Desirable)
• Flexible approach to working shifts, including weekends if required.
• Driving Licence (Desirable)
