Location: Aylesford, Kent
Start Date: November 2026
Contract: Long-Term until Christmas At Least
Hours: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
Pay: Competitive Daily Rate

A lovely and friendly primary school in Aylesford is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team on a long-term basis until Christmas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys working with young children and is passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential in a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

The Role

Supporting pupils within a Year 1 classroom on a 1:1, small group, and whole-class basis.

Assisting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and creative learning activities.

Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging children's social and emotional development.

Helping pupils access the curriculum and achieve their individual learning goals.

Supporting classroom organisation and contributing to a positive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or within a primary school setting.

Experience supporting children in Early Years or Key Stage 1.

A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A genuine passion for education and helping children succeed.
