Are you a caring and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant looking for work in Paignton or the wider Torbay area? We are currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants in Paignton to work with children and young people who require additional support with their learning, communication, behaviour and development.

There are opportunities available on both a full-time and part-time basis, making these roles suitable whether you're looking for regular work throughout the week or something that fits around other commitments.

Your new role

As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils to provide individualised support, helping them to engage with learning, develop their confidence and make progress.
Depending on the setting and needs of the pupils, you may provide 1:1 support or work with small groups, supporting learning activities and helping to create a positive, inclusive and nurturing environment.
You will work alongside teachers and other support staff to ensure pupils receive consistent support throughout the school day.

Previous experience within SEND, education, care, youth work or a similar supporting role would be beneficial. Relevant Teaching Assistant or childcare qualifications are also welcomed.
