Are you a caring and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant looking for work in Taunton, Somerset? We are currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants in Taunton to support children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. We have opportunities available on both a full-time and part-time basis, offering flexibility around your availability.

Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, have previously worked within a specialist SEND setting, or have transferable experience from care, youth work or a similar support role, we would love to hear from you.

Your new role

As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support with their learning, communication, behaviour and personal development. You may work 1:1 with individual pupils or support small groups, helping them to engage with learning, build confidence and develop their independence. You will work alongside teachers and other support staff to provide a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment tailored to the individual needs of pupils. What you'll need to succeed
