Hays Education is working in partnership with a specialist SEND school in Rugby to recruit a full-time SEN Teaching Assistants.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for consistency and the chance to build a long-term career within a specialist school. The role will initially be through Hays, with potential for the successful candidate to be considered for a permanent position after an initial 12-week placement.

Your new role

Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, you will support children and young people with a range of additional needs within a specialist SEND environment.

You will work closely with teaching and support staff, helping pupils engage in learning, develop their independence and achieve their individual goals.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience supporting children, young people or adults with additional needs

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEN TA, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker or similar

A patient, resilient and positive approach

Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs

Ability to commit to a full-time, long-term position

An interest in potentially progressing into a permanent school-based role
