TEACHING ASSISTANT | SOLIHULL

Location: Solihull, West Midlands

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

The Teach Team are representing a vibrant and inclusive school who are currently looking for enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils in schools across the Solihull area.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience supporting children with:

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) – Supporting communication, social interaction and sensory needs.

ADHD – Helping pupils with concentration, emotional regulation and behaviour management.

SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs) – Supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural challenges.

Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) – Helping children develop their communication and interaction skills.

Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD) – Providing tailored learning support.

Complex Needs – Supporting pupils who require additional care, individualised learning and structured routines.

What we're looking for:

Previous experience working with children with SEN

A patient, caring and adaptable approach

Strong communication and behaviour management skills

A genuine passion for making a difference in children's education

Confidence supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
