• Holiday Pay: Accrued separately in line with PAYE regulations

About the Role
Pure Staff are recruiting for a Van Driver on behalf of a well-established business within the automotive distribution industry based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional Van Driver looking for long-term ongoing work with genuine prospects for permanent employment.
The successful Van Driver will be delivering automotive parts to commercial customers across the region, working as part of a friendly and supportive transport operation.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries of automotive parts to business customers
• Carry out between 6 and 8 deliveries per shift
• Load, unload and handball products safely and efficiently
• Complete delivery documentation accurately using an electronic POD device
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Deliver excellent customer service at all delivery points
• Follow all company health and safety procedures

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Start times available between 06:00 and 11:00
• Typical shift lengths between 8 and 12 hours
• Ongoing work throughout the year
• Flexible start times may be available depending on operational requirements
• No regular weekend working

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous Van Driver experience preferred
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately and electronically
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Good understanding of road safety and driving regulations
