This is not just another Headteacher role; it’s a chance to shape the future of two schools, inspire talented teams, and transform educational experiences for students who thrive on a different approach to learning.

Our mission is to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, alongside additional learning and communication difficulties. We believe in Thinking and Learning Differently, recognizing that every student has unique strengths, challenges, and aspirations. We are committed to helping them achieve more than they ever thought possible.

  • Champion student wellbeing and safeguarding, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Build meaningful partnerships with families, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead confidently through inspections, ensuring compliance and maintaining high standards.
  • Oversee effective school operations, including financial management and resource planning.

We seek a confident, forward-thinking leader who combines educational expertise with the ability to motivate others, embrace challenges, and deliver lasting improvements. You will bring:

  • QTS, NPQH, or a relevant degree.
  • Successful leadership experience as a Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher in a specialist or SEMH setting.
  • A strong understanding of SEMH needs and a commitment to inclusive education.
  • A proven track record of driving school improvement and achieving positive educational outcomes.
  • Experience with Ofsted inspections and quality assurance.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong strategic planning and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience managing school budgets and financial compliance.
  • The resilience and ambition to lead positive change across two school sites.
Why Join Us?

At Belmont, we know that outstanding leadership can change the direction of a young person's life. Every improvement you drive, every colleague you inspire, and every opportunity you create will help students build confidence, develop independence, and prepare for a brighter future.

You'll have the chance to make a lasting impact across two specialist schools, supported by the expertise and resources of Outcomes First Group.
