The Role: Live-In Care
As a Live-In Healthcare Assistant or Carer, you will live in the client's home during an agreed assignment, providing personalised support based on their individual needs and care plans.
You will help clients maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life while offering practical assistance, companionship and reassurance in a familiar home environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, where required.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers in accordance with their care plans and your training.
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition and hydration.
• Provide companionship, emotional support and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist with light household duties related to the client's care and wellbeing.
• Support medication routines where authorised, trained and required by the care plan.
• Encourage independence and support clients to maintain their daily routines.
• Monitor and report changes in a client's physical or emotional wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate care records and respect confidentiality.
• Follow safeguarding procedures, infection prevention guidance and health and safety requirements.
• Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals and other members of the care team where appropriate.
• You will work according to the individual care plan.
