About Us

Longdon Park School, which opened in June 2015, is a co-educational day school for students aged 7 to 18 with complex educational needs, communication difficulties, and behaviours that may challenge, primarily associated with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

We operate across two specialist sites to provide age-appropriate learning environments: Egginton, Derby for students aged 7–14 and Branston, Burton upon Trent for young people aged 14–18.

Our therapeutic, supportive, and inclusive approach enables every student to develop confidence, independence, and resilience. We help our young people understand the impact of their actions, make positive choices, and develop the social and emotional skills they need to thrive both in school and beyond.

We are dedicated to raising achievement by delivering a personalised, engaging curriculum tailored to each student's strengths, interests, and aspirations. Our goal is to equip every learner with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to achieve positive outcomes and transition successfully into further education, employment, or adult life.

Please note: Longdon Park School is not readily accessible by public transport, so applicants should consider this when applying.
