SEN Teaching Assistants Wanted in Tonbridge!

Are you a patient, enthusiastic and dedicated individual who enjoys supporting children and young people with additional learning needs?

Academics is currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants to work across a variety of schools in Tonbridge and the surrounding areas.

We have a range of opportunities available, from flexible day-to-day supply work to longer-term placements, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced teaching assistants and individuals looking to develop their careers in education.

The Role

Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Supporting students with autism (ASD), ADHD, learning difficulties and additional educational needs.

Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored learning support.

Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive relationships.

Supporting classroom activities and encouraging engagement with learning.

Creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational or SEN setting.

A caring, patient and adaptable approach.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.

Reliability, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
