Are you a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child's life? Academics Ltd , an established education recruitment agency based in Worcester, is proud to be working with an Outstanding primary school in the beautiful area of Malvern . We are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Year 3 with autism on a one-to-one basis , starting in September 2026 or as soon as possible and continuing through to Christmas but could be for the full academic year.
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity to support a very engaging young child who is a pleasure to work with . As a Teaching Assistant , you will provide consistent, one-to-one support throughout the school day-helping them access learning, develop their confidence, and thrive in a structured and nurturing environment. You'll be working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the pupil receives tailored support that meets their needs.
Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant , ideally with children with autism or additional needs
A calm, patient, and empathetic nature
Confidence in delivering one-to-one support and adapting strategies as needed
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or school-based experience is advantageous
