Job description
Responsibilities
- Carrying out the SFC Fixed Asset related activities for Germany g. Month-end, quarter-end close process for SFC Fixed Asset activities, processing additions, disposals, depreciation etc
- Co-ordinating and completing the associated processes for fixed assets across teamsg. Commentaries, depreciation bookings, managing overall IgloGermany fixed asset related issues
- Contributing as required to the wider team objectives of the German FRC team. These could be ad-hoc, could change over time and will be additional to the fixed asset activities
- Contributing to improvements in processes especially in the fixed assets areag. Standardising fixed asset approach with other clusters, changing processes for VIM environment, resolving P&L GLs 42503010 and 42603010 account imbalance, etc.
- Managing external audit requirements for fixed assets
Qualifications
- Part/fully qualified accountant
- German language skills would be an advantage
- SAP and especially Fixed Asset SAP skills would be an advantage
