Job Title: Female Support Worker

Location: Amotherby, Malton ( North Yorkshire ), YO17
Pay Rate:

£15.50 per hour (weekends)

£12.21 per hour (bank holiday sleep-in)

Hours: Full-time – 48 hours per week

Shifts:
Saturday Day shift
Saturday Sleep shift
Sunday Day shift
Sunday Sleep shift

Contract: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Priority Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting compassionate and experienced Female Support Workers to support a young adult female within a well-established, person-centred care package in Amotherby, near Malton (North Yorkshire) .

You will be working in the client's own adapted home , supporting her with daily living, personal care, and community engagement as part of a consistent and supportive team.

About the Client

The client is a 22-year-old female wheelchair user who requires 24/7 care and support . She lives at home with her mother and younger sister in a fully adapted property , including ceiling track hoists, mobile hoists, accessible bathroom facilities, and a sleep system bed. There is a carer office/room available for overnight sleep-in shifts .

She has a great sense of humour and enjoys:

Visiting cocktail bars and pubs

Musical theatre trips (London & Leeds)

Films and reality TV

Shopping online and in the community

Social activities and days out

Support in the community is often provided on a 2:1 basis , and the team is currently encouraging greater independence by supporting her to engage in activities with staff rather than relying solely on family support.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Providing personal care with dignity and respect (including bathing, dressing, and hygiene)

Supporting with feeding and medication administration

Using ceiling track and mobile hoists safely (training available)
